QIAGEN Centrifuge 4-16KS is a refrigerated centrifuge designed for use with all QIAGEN spin products – from small- and large-scale columns to 96-well plates. It provides streamlined, efficient processing in QIAGEN purification procedures and enables the purification of nucleic acids from up to 192 samples in parallel.

Principle

Proven technology with improved performance

QIAGEN Centrifuge 4-16KS combines the convenience and reliability that laboratories have come to rely on. An easy-to-use control panel simplifies programming, and 60 acceleration and deceleration curves are preinstalled. Up to 60 programs can be entered and stored by the user. The TFT display provides high contrast and readability, with all settings on one screen. In addition, programs and parameters can easily be code-protected (e.g., for regulated environments). Refrigerated centrifugation assures safe purification of your valuable samples.

All QIAGEN protocols can be used with the Centrifuge 4-16KS without modification. The Plate Rotor 2 x 96 enables purification from up to two QIAGEN 96-well plates. A wide range of fixed-angle and swing-out rotors is available from Sigma Laborzentrifugen GmbH for centrifugation of 5 ml, 15 ml, and 50 ml tubes, as well as 1.5 ml and 2 ml microcentrifuge tubes.
