QIAcuity Digital PCR

Description

Furthering the evolution of its strong PCR portfolio and expertise in assay development and automation, QIAGEN is ready to advance digital PCR to a new level. Digital PCR (dPCR) enables precise quantification of nucleic acids and target sequences, with superior sensitivity compared to other PCR- and NGS-based approaches. The QIAGEN dPCR systems come with a promise of quicker time-to-result, higher multiplexing, and greater throughput flexibility than currently available digital PCR platforms, enabling customers to unlock a lot more molecular insights than ever. Most importantly, a plate-based, high-throughput workflow mimics contemporary quantitative PCR (qPCR), making dPCR a highly adaptable tool for diverse life science research applications.

The QIAcuity instruments and nanoplates

A fully integrated digital PCR solution for absolute quantification

A rapid and simplified plate-based workflow

The nanoplate-based digital PCR system provides a more familiar workflow, just like in qPCR experiments. The system integrates partitioning, thermocycling, and imaging into a single fully automated instrument that takes users from the sample to result in under two hours.

Features and benefits

With the flexible instrument, plate configurations, and up to five detection channels, the nanoplate-based digital PCR system is capable of displacing qPCR as the method of choice for high-throughput quantification of nucleic acid targets.
