Description
Established in 2003, Implen is a leading supplier for spectroscopy instruments and consumables for the non-destructive analysis of ultra low volume samples which has a headquarter in Munich, Germany. The company truly focuses on biological, chemical, and pharmaceutical laboratories in industry and research. Implen has been known since it launched the first generation of NanoPhotometer®, which then followed by other spectrometry instruments that continue to evolve and grow, and support variety of modern research workflows. Now Implen is not only famous in its home country, but also has expanded around the world.
IMPLEN NanoPhotometer® instruments are generally equipped with a variety of advanced features that can ease researchers in doing spectrometry measurements. The Sample Compression Technology™ allows researchers to get high-precision analysis and protein concentration reading all thanks to the sample drop squeezer that is made of stainless quartz, which also allows researchers to do sample testing with organic solvents or detergent-based buffer. The True Path Technology™ also guarantees its long-term performance and durability. This means that Implen NanoPhotometer® is truly suitable for analyzing dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA, miRNA, oglionucleotides, quantification of proteins, peptides, and antibodies. Besides, it also very applicable for:
- Finding out the cell density (OD600)
- Identifying sample characteristics with spectrum absorbance between 200-900 nm automatically
- Generating a standard curve
IMPLEN NanoPhotometer N50 is a spectrophotometer equipped with advanced technology that is very sensitive and works comprehensively even with nanovolume samples (it can produce high level of uniformity from minimum 0.3 μl of sample measurements). Besides, this instrument also supports maximum sample processing because it has a range of 200-650 nm spectrum scan and is also supported by dual fixed path lengths (0.67 and 0.07 m) that can calibrate automatically and support autodilution (dilution factor 15 and 40), which is why the sample analysis be completed in only 2.5-4.0 seconds. Its high sensitivity level also makes NanoPhotometer N50 able to do accurate readings within nanovolume detection ranging from 5-7.500 ng/µl for nucleotide samples and 0,15-217 mg/ml for BSA samples, so there is no need for dilution technology and recalibration.
Just like the previous type (C40), this tool is also a flexible one because it can be integrated with other supporting instruments so that there will be no problems in storing and transferring data all thanks to its state-of-the-art LIMS technology. This instrument is also optionally equipped with a user-friendly LCD touch screen. Not to forget that its minimalist and sophisticated design and size also make it easy to be brought everywhere. Last but not least, NanoPhotometer N50 is also a spectrophotometer instrument with an onboard memory provider system which operates automatically and has an outstanding performance in managing data storage and commonly used protocols.
