IMPLEN NanoPhotometer C40

Description

Established in 2003, Implen is a leading supplier for spectroscopy instruments and consumables for the non-destructive analysis of ultra low volume samples which has a headquarter in Munich, Germany. The company truly focuses on biological, chemical, and pharmaceutical laboratories in industry and research. Implen has been known since it launched the first generation  of NanoPhotometer®, which then followed by other spectrometry instruments that continue to evolve and grow, and support variety of modern research workflows. Now Implen is not only famous in its home country, but also has expanded around the world.

IMPLEN NanoPhotometer® instruments are generally equipped with a variety of advanced features that can ease researchers in doing spectrometry measurements. This means that Implen NanoPhotometer® is truly suitable for analyzing dsDNA, ssDNA, RNA, miRNA, oglionucleotides, quantification of proteins, peptides, and antibodies. Besides, it also very applicable for:

  • Finding out the cell density (OD600)
  • Identifying sample characteristics with spectrum absorbance between 200-900 nm automatically
  • Generating a standard curve

NanoPhotometer C40 is one of the cuvette-based spectrophotometers from Implen with range of 200-900 nm spectrum scan, so it is not surprising if this instrument is able to scan in only 2.5 seconds, making it an efficient and trouble-free spectrometry instrument. This tool also has cuvette detection range of dsDNA (0.1-130 ng/µl) and BSA (0.003-3.7 mg/ml), and also does not need any recalibration. The lid system is designed to be able to open and close automatically and is equipped with a temperature controller, which is why it is perfectly suitable for every UV/Vis spectroscopy applications and kinetics. In addition, this instrument can also be upgraded by adding a Submicroliter Cell (SMC) that allows researchers to customize the method for as much as needed, especially in measuring nucleic acids and proteins. Users can also add LCD touchscreens, and it will put them at ease even more with its infinite connectivity ranging from Wi-Fi to printers with different compatibilities. Noted also that it is a portable instrument, so no wonder it is also known as a portable UV spectrophotometer. And because of its portability, your performance will become more comfortable and satisfying since it can be done anywhere, anytime!
