A seminar titled Pharmacopeial Requirements Seminar was held by GeneCraft Labs cooperated with Pall at Aston Priority Hotel, Simatupang, Jakarta on Wednesday, August 7th, 2019. This seminar invited Lori Euler and Kacey Pouliot, both are Global Product Managers from Pall Laboratory.

This half-day seminar was held with the aim of broadening knowledge about the application of pharmacopoeial requirements. Through this seminar, the participants can discuss and watch the demonstration of sophisticated instruments produced by Pall Laboratory as a solution to the some pharmacopoeial issues.

In addition to its implementation in the world of pharmacopeia, this seminar also mainly discussed the importance of microbiological examination and monitoring of bioburden and water used in the pharmaceutical world. Thus, participants can gain practical ability to very well apply the things listed in USP Chapter 61 regarding pharmacopeial requirements related to microbiological examination, the application of GLP for QC Microbiology laboratories, as well as USP Chapter 1231, EP, ChP regarding the essence of water needs ultrapure for analytical use.

The event was attended by approximately 70 participants. The event was opened by the Director of GeneCraft Labs, Teddy Gunawan Joedistira, in the morning the event was closed after lunch. Some of the participants came from BPOM, PT Soho Industri Pharmasi, PT Kimia Farma, PT Tempo Research, PT Darya Varia Laboratoria, PT Sinde Budi Sentosa, and PT Sanofi Indonesia.
